Placing Your First Order

Ordering a service on WorkHub is simple and secure. Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1: Find a Gig

Use the search bar at the top of the page or browse by category. Filter results by price, delivery time, and seller rating to narrow down your choices.

Step 2: Review the Gig Page

Before ordering, read the gig description carefully. Check:

  • What is included in each package (Basic, Standard, Premium)
  • Delivery time and number of revisions
  • Seller rating and recent reviews
  • Portfolio samples

Step 3: Choose Your Package

Click Continue on the package that best fits your needs. You can also message the seller before ordering to clarify requirements.

Step 4: Select a Payment Plan

WorkHub offers two payment plans:

  • Standard Plan — Full payment upfront, held in escrow until delivery is approved.
  • Milestone Plan — Pay 20% upfront to start the project. Review a demo, then pay the remaining 80% for final delivery.

Step 5: Complete Payment

WorkHub uses PayHere for secure payment processing. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, or internet banking. Your payment goes into escrow immediately — the freelancer does not receive it until you approve.

Step 6: Communicate with Your Freelancer

After placing the order, share your requirements through the order page. Be as specific as possible to avoid revisions.

💡 Tip: Always provide a detailed brief on the order page. The more information you give, the better the result.
