Identity Verification on WorkHub
WorkHub requires identity verification to maintain a safe, trustworthy marketplace. Verified users get a badge on their profile and access to all platform features.
What you need
- A valid government-issued ID (National Identity Card, Passport, or Driver's License)
- A clear photo or scan of the front (and back for NIC) of your ID
- A selfie holding your ID (optional, but speeds up verification)
How to Submit Verification
- Go to your Profile → Settings → Verification.
- Click "Start Verification".
- Upload the required documents.
- Click Submit.
Verification Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Your documents are under review (usually 1–2 business days) |
| Approved | Verified ✅ — Badge shows on your profile |
| Rejected | Documents unclear or invalid — resubmit with better quality images |

- To withdraw earnings from your WorkHub Wallet
- To apply for WorkHub Pro status
- To build trust with potential clients or freelancers
- To comply with Sri Lankan financial regulations
